People and companies. Describe people by role, seniority, skills, company, industry, and location, and companies by industry, size, and location.
Ask Xverum is built for AI agents and products, such as AI recruiters, AI SDRs, and research agents. You can also use it directly from Claude and other AI clients.

You describe who you’re looking for in a sentence, such as “senior backend engineers in Berlin with fintech experience.” There are no Boolean strings to write and no filter values to pick, so an AI agent can run the search without learning a filter schema.
Name, headline, current position, company, industry, location, a social profile URL, and an evidence summary. A full profile adds work history, education, and a profile summary. A field comes back empty when Xverum holds no value for it.
Name, industry, employee count, headquarters, country, website, founding year, tagline, and a social profile URL. A full company profile adds a description, the specialties the company lists, office locations, and organization type. A field comes back empty when Xverum holds no value for it.
Every person in search results and every full person profile has an evidence summary that shows how recently the profile was verified. The labels range from “Verified last 30 days” to “Verified over 120 days ago.”
You get an empty result with a short message, and you aren’t charged.
Yes. Search for the companies first, then search for people at the companies you pick, such as “engineering leaders at Stripe.” In your AI agent, you can ask for both steps at once. Over the REST API, set target to company for the company search.
No. Ask Xverum returns each person’s professional profile and social profile URL. It doesn’t return email addresses or phone numbers.
Next Move Signal is Ask Xverum's job-change prediction. It scores how likely a person is to change jobs, from 0 to 1, before they declare they are open to work. Scores refresh weekly. A score is returned only when the evidence is strong, so most people have none. A score costs 10 credits, and there's no charge when there's no score.
Ask Xverum has no prediction for that person. That is different from a low score, and the call is free.
No. Next Move Signal scores people: how likely one person is to change jobs.
In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http xverum https://mcp.xverum.com/mcp and sign in on first use. For Claude Desktop and other clients, follow the steps in the MCP server docs. There is nothing to install, because Xverum hosts the server.
The docs cover Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Codex, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, the Gemini app, and Windsurf. Other clients can connect to https://mcp.xverum.com/mcp if they support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
Five: search_people_xverum, enrich_person_xverum, predict_job_change_xverum, search_company_xverum, and enrich_company_xverum. All five tools are read-only.
REST API calls and MCP tool calls share a default limit of 60 requests per minute per API key. Past the limit, the API returns a 429 response with a Retry-After header. Custom plans can have custom rate limits.Rate limits docs

Yes. Free credits renew every month and never expire as a plan. Unused credits don’t carry over — you get a fresh 200 each month.

Only data you receive. Empty fields, errors, retries, and zero-result searches are never charged.
You choose. Extra usage is off by default — approve it once and nothing ever stops: extra credits bill at $39 per 1,000 credits on Free, $31 on Starter, $28 on Growth, and $26 on Pro, or 10% less on annual plans. Without approval, we pause at your limit and the notice gives you two one-click links: approve extra usage or upgrade. Either way you’re notified at 80%, and monthly credits reset at the start of your next billing month.
No. Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing month. Annual plans work differently: all credits are granted up front and stay valid for 12 months.
No. One credit pool, same rates everywhere. Every response — API and MCP — reports credits charged and your remaining balance.
Yes. Upgrade anytime from your dashboard — you confirm the change before anything is charged and only pay the prorated difference.
